Contrary to popular belief 2 is not the first prime. That is, of course, if you are talking to my sister. She is convinced that 2 is too small to be a prime number. Additionally 3 and 5 don't count either. According to her, 7 is the first real prime. 2, 3, and 5 don't have enough number before them to make it possible for them to even be composite. 7 has 6 numbers below so it should be composite. Because of this, 7 is her favorite prime number. This got me thinking, what is my favorite prime? At first I said 83 just counter her saying there were 82 numbers before it. But upon further consideration I'd have to say my favorite is 17. There is just a beautiful ring to 17. Plus, when you think of it as age, 17 is exciting. There are no longer restrictions on your driver's license. You're on the brink of adulthood. You are definitely more mature than your 15 and 16 year old counter parts. Plus, it's always the 17 year old body you wish you had again. Not to mention the Beatles' song "She was just 17 if you know what I mean." So think about it. Don' respond too quickly. Give it some thought. What is your favorie prime?
Note: For those of you that don't know, prime numbers are not divisible by anything other than itself and one. Examples: 11, 7, 17, 83, 23. Now be careful Primes will be odd (with the exception of the number 2), but not all odds are prime. Kind of like rhombuses and squares. Also 1 IS NOT prime so that one can't be your favorite.

7 and I don't think it will ever change. Isn't it a holy number, eternal or something as such. And it is the first real prime.
Tiff, I'm afraid we are the only two that get all excited about primes! There are other people out there like us, they just don't read your blog!!
