Memorial Day Weekend

What a good memorial day weekend. It started on Friday when Nathan's sister came to town so we went to the gravesites of Nathan's great grandparents to clean the headstones and place flowers. I never did that growing up because my parents are both from Utah so we didn't have family around. On Saturday we just relaxed and enjoyed the fact that I'm out of school for a while. Sunday night we wanted to go to the park and make some dutch oven cobbler. We decided it would be fun to spend the night as well so we took our tent and some sleeping bags and had a relaxing evening outside. Monday we went hiking with my family...well we tried. Every trail had snow right at the beginning. We got as far as we could but there was a lot of snow. The little kids still had fun running around. The best part, I didn't have to go back to work on Tuesday. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer (what there is of it).
